Houzz is a trusted online community for interior and kitchen design, decorating and home improvement which connects homeowners with home professionals. It’s a great place to browse for design inspiration, research products and find the right kitchen specialists for you by looking through real projects that have been carried out.

We set up our profile in 2022 and we are delighted to have been recognised with an award for customer service this year as a recipient of the Best of Houzz Service award now for three years running: 2023, 2024 and 2025! The Best of Houzz awards recognise top-rated home professionals and most popular designs based on categories (design, service and photography) and different areas across the country and only 3-4% of profiles win these awards each year.

The Best of Houzz: Service is awarded to those who have demonstrated excellent customer service, exemplified by the quality of testimonials from clients across projects completed in the previous year. For this reason, we’d firstly like to thank every one of our clients who have taken the time to write a review of their experience on Houzz, which is so greatly appreciated, and our designer Carmel for curating the projects and photographs that we have compiled so far with an expert eye.

To celebrate this award, in this article we’re taking the opportunity to highlight 5 unique kitchens in St Albans and Harpenden below that we have enjoyed designing and installing, partnered side-by-side with testimonials from each client to give an insight into the process behind it and their experience working with Bramptons.

1. Harpenden

2. St Albans

“Carmel came up with an inspirational design and best use of space for my modest end of terrace property… Barry (the builder) was always there as a point of contact and would always get back to me at least within a day or two, while he managed the work processes and made sure that everything went to plan.”

3. Hemel Hempstead

“We had such an amazing experience with Brampton from start to finish. The initial meeting to discuss requirements was really efficient. Carmel listened to what was important to us, then went away and designed us the most amazing kitchen & utility room. Carmel was so helpful and responsive throughout the process, supporting us view colours/worktop options at other clients when we were struggling to make decisions!”

“Designed and installed our kitchen – very professional throughout and helped significantly whenever there were supply-chain issues. Every issue – no matter how small – solved promptly and professionally. They use really good tradespeople, fully managed the project (which included building work) and also have a huge number of ranges to choose from. Very pleased with the end result!”
