How to design an Eco-Friendly Kitchen?
“I’ll only agree to open plan if we go eco.” – Judith
It was wonderful to be part of this incredible open space transformation for our customer’s kitchen and living area in St Albans. Keeping the environment in mind was a top priority: from creating an eco-friendly design right down to installation process.
The walls were lined with 80mm thick Pavaflex, skimmed with Lime Plaster and painted with breathable paint. Underfloor heating and tiled flooring, followed by our furniture which carries many certificates for helping towards protecting the environment for example, the Golden M award, Emission label A, awarded as a Climate Neutral Company by the DGM and many other environmental and health protection awards.
All this created a lovely atmosphere of harmony and nature framed by the flawless white satin matt doors and wood palette and undercut by a current of satin cobalt blue throughout – a striking feature of this space. Finished with Clean steel Miele ovens and warming drawer, Boro Pure X vending hob topped with Arenastone Grigio Venato.
This project is a great reminder that beautiful renovations can be kind to the earth at the same time as making a lovely living area to enjoy.
