Client Brief:

The clients wanted to create a light, airy, and welcoming kitchen that felt more spacious and open. The existing U-shaped layout was restrictive, especially when both of them were in the kitchen at the same time. They envisioned an island to enhance both the functionality and flow of the space. They also desired a pop of colour, which became the perfect opportunity to introduce a bold hue into the island, while maintaining the light and airy feel of the surrounding L-shaped design.
