Natasha shortlisted as finalist in the BKU Awards 2026

24 April 2026

Exciting news 🎉 Our designer, Natasha, at Brampton Interiors has been shortlisted as a finalist for the category ‘Best Kitchen Design’ in the BKU Awards 2026!

About the BKU Awards

Launched by Bathroom & Kitchen Update publisher Datateam Business Media in 2015, the BKU Awards has firmly established its position as the ultimate scheme for the recognition of excellence in the industry and the key networking event in the calendar of all bathroom & kitchen professionals.

How do you feel about the news of your nomination?

Natasha: “Reaching five years in the kitchen design industry feels like a real milestone, so to be named a finalist for Best Kitchen Design at the BKU Awards at this point makes it even more special. Over that time, I’ve developed a real focus on the detail – not just how a kitchen looks, but how it works and feels to live in every day. It’s something I genuinely enjoy refining with each project, so to see that approach being recognised more widely is incredibly rewarding.

Following on from being a finalist at the Designerati Awards last year, it’s been a really positive start to the year. It also builds on a strong team foundation, with Brampton Interiors nominated at the BKU Awards for ‘Best Kitchen Retailer for Customer Service’ in 2025, which makes this individual recognition feel even more meaningful.

I’m really looking forward to the awards evening – it’ll be great to be surrounded by such talented designers and to see everyone’s work.”

What is your favourite part of the design process?

Natasha: “One of the things I truly love about the design process is creating detailed 3D renders – it’s the moment when your new kitchen starts to take shape and feel real.

These visuals are a key part of how I work. They allow you to clearly see how the space will look, how the layout flows, and how materials, colours, and finishes come together – as well as how the kitchen will work alongside other furnishings like tables and sofas.

The renders also showcase what I can achieve for you as a designer. They give you the confidence to visualise your new kitchen and help ensure that every detail feels just right for you and your home.

Below are a few examples from different projects that truly capture this approach.”

Recent clients have left glowing reviews highlighting Natasha’s creative and thoughtful approach to space planning and her meticulous eye for detail from the start to finish of a project. To celebrate this nomination, we have selected some recently completed kitchens and designs by Natasha to showcase below.

#1 The Broadway, Wheathampstead

Client: “Natasha worked so hard on it and paid attention to every little detail. She takes such pride in creating her designs and clearly has a passion and real talent for what she does so pleased to see her efforts rewarded! She is very easy to work with as well.

Our kitchen was part of a sizeable renovation so she also had that to contend with but she was endlessly patient and thoughtful and found solutions as needed. We love our new kitchen and its a real centre piece to the house creating a lovely bright, airy and relaxed vibe. Natasha got in everything that we had hoped for and other things we didn’t know existed that have just made it extra special and within our budget.”

#2 Design for Luxury Home in London

Natasha: “Rich smoked cabinetry is paired with striking Nero Marquini marble, creating a statement centrepiece that anchors the entire space. Bronze accents and soft lighting add depth and contrast, while the structural pendant mirrors the organic veining of the marble: A seamless blend of elegance, texture, and tone, that feels both modern and timeless.

I wanted to challenge myself a year later – re-imagning how the space could feel more refined, dramatic, and cohesive, while staying true to the original concept.”

#3 Meadow Walk, Harpenden

Client: “We chose Brampton Interiors because they came highly recommended and the design service we received before we made the final choice was brilliant.

Natasha Poppleton-Ray took the time to really understand what we wanted and came up with initial designs and subsequent omdifications that fit our requirements, and included attention to the little details as well as the bigger items… We are absolutely delighted with the end result – it was a complete transformation!”

#4 King’s Road, St Albans

Client: “Whilst on-site, Natasha liaised with our builder, keeping us informed and any small issues which emerged, as these things do, were resolved quickly and with care for all involved. At the end of the project, we felt sad saying goodbye to Natasha and the team at Bramptons – that’s a real sign of having enjoyed a process that could have been extremely stressful.

Now, back living in the space and using it daily, we couldn’t be happier. We had a tiny, dark and cold kitchen before our build and now we have a light, airy and sociable space which we love spending time in. It’s a real delight and we’re incredibly happy.”
