Designer Spotlight: Natasha

Natasha is a brilliant emerging kitchen designer who has made a shooting start at Brampton Interiors. Since she joined our team two years ago, Natasha has created some incredibly imaginative designs for both luxury, modern kitchens and cosy, traditional spaces that demonstrate great flair and creative innovation.

It is great to see Natasha’s creative talent come to life as she creates unique mood boards that reflect each client’s taste and style, remaining ever in tune with current trends and developments. She has also excelled in fostering her clients’ decision-making and combining a highly meticulous whilst flexible approach throughout the design stage.

Another of Natasha’s qualities is her attention to detail when turning the final design into a reality throughout the installation process, remaining level-headed no matter what unexpected challenges arise.

How do you feel about the news of your nomination?

Natasha: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be nominated for this award — it marks a significant milestone in my career, and I’ve worked incredibly hard to make it a reality.

I’ve had so much support since joining Bramptons, and I owe a great deal to those who have guided and inspired me throughout my kitchen design journey from the very beginning. Their influence has been instrumental in my growth as a designer.

I’ve been waiting nervously since submitting my design, so to now be named a finalist feels amazing. It’s such an honour to be recognised alongside so many talented individuals — that alone feels like a win in itself.

Fingers crossed for the big night in November!”

What is your favourite part of the design process?

Natasha: “One of the things I truly love about the design process is creating detailed 3D renders — it’s the moment when your new kitchen starts to take shape and feel real.

These visuals are a key part of how I work. They allow you to clearly see how the space will look, how the layout flows, and how materials, colours, and finishes come together — as well as how the kitchen will work alongside other furnishings like tables and sofas.

The renders also showcase what I can achieve for you as a designer. They give you the confidence to visualise your new kitchen and help ensure that every detail feels just right for you and your home.

Below are a few examples from different projects that truly capture this approach.”

Natasha’s thoughtful approach to space planning and her careful selection of materials ensures that no detail is overlooked, resulting in kitchens that are not only visually stunning but also functional and tailored to the individual needs of her clients. To celebrate this nomination, we have selected some recently completed kitchens in St Albans and Harpenden designed by Natasha to showcase below.

#1 Chime Square, St Albans

“It was lovely to revisit this kitchen – installed just in time for Christmas last year. The bold Velvet Blue AV6055 cabinetry paired with Carrara Venatino by Ultra Marble and Antique brass hardware strikes a beautiful balance of richness and freshness, turning this house into a home.

A dedicated breakfast station adds both style and function, with clever design details that keep everyday clutter tucked neatly out of sight.”

#2 Geescroft Walk, Harpenden

“Inspired by our St Albans showroom display, this kitchen combines white and umber cabinetry with Caesarstone’s Moorland Fog worktops and warm brass handles for a timeless, elegant finish.

The space was opened up by removing internal walls and doors and we repositioned the sink more centrally to the window to create some symmetry. The room is now flooded with natural light, resulting in a seamless transition into their conservatory.”

#3 Lancaster Road, St Albans

“A stunning recently completed kitchen in collaboration with Carmel at Brampton Interiors. The bespoke blue island (RAL 5011) is a favourite detail—its rich, vibrant colour adds a touch of personality and really comes to life when the sunlight pours in.

The worktop, which beautifully complements the blue island, creates harmony with the main L-shaped section of the kitchen, tying everything together for a cohesive and stylish finish.”

#4 Harpenden

A glowing review from the client: “We chose Brampton Interiors because they came highly recommended and the design service we received before we made the final choice was brilliant.

Natasha Poppleton-Ray took the time to really understand what we wanted and came up with initial designs and subsequent omdifications that fit our requirements, and included attention to the little details as well as the bigger items… We are absolutely delighted with the end result – it was a complete transformation!”
