Two Recently Completed Kitchens in St Albans

26 June 2026

With a Brampton Interiors bespoke handmade kitchen, anything is possible!

This month, we’re showcasing two beautiful kitchens in St Albans recently completed by our team. Each project has been thoughtfully designed around the client’s home, lifestyle, tastes and colour preferences, resulting in two completely unique spaces.

Alongside the design and installation of the kitchens, these projects involved refurbishment work, from utility and laundry rooms to bespoke bars and fitted furniture for the living and dining spaces, highlighting the holistic service we offer at Brampton’s!

Working with our trusted network of local tradespeople and collaborators, built over more than 18 years in St Albans, we manage projects from concept through to completion. Many of our clients return to us years later for further projects, reflecting the lasting relationships we build along the way.

#1 King’s Road, St Albans

A green dream! 🌵 This beautiful kitchen in St Albans designed by Natasha was featured as a finalist at the BKU Awards 2026 for ‘Best Kitchen Design’. This was one of the first projects that Natasha designed at Brampton’s across four rooms (kitchen, living room, hallway and laundry room) and the finished look is truly impressive.

Natasha: “Green is one of my favourite kitchen colours at the moment, it creates a passage through to our outside garden spaces. It is a tranquil and calm colour while also creating a luxurious and sophisticated aura in each space.”

Client: “We worked with Natasha, starting before our build was even on site, to design a sociable kitchen-dining area in awkward (read no 90 degree walls!) L-shaped space.

Now, back living in the space and using it daily, we couldn’t be happier. We had a tiny, dark and cold kitchen before our build and now we have a light, airy and sociable space which we love spending time in. It’s a real delight and we’re incredibly happy.”

#2 Ivory Close, St Albans

This project involved a complete reconfiguration of the original space to create a more open, light-filled kitchen and dining area. By relocating key elements such as the sink and reworking the layout, the room now flows more naturally, with clearly defined zones for cooking and dining and updated window positions to help maximise natural light.

At the heart of the design is a striking central island in Hague Blue by Farrow & Ball, providing a tasteful contrast to the surrounding furniture in Slaked Lime by Little Greene.

A standout feature is also the Caesarstone Mirabel porcelain worktop, used at 30mm with a mitred downstand and full cladding behind the sink, allowing the natural veining to flow seamlessly across the space. This detail is echoed in the splashback, creating a cohesive and considered finish.

Brushed brass accents, including Armac Martin hardware, add warmth and refinement, subtly lifting the clean and crisp palette of the kitchen. To the side of the main space, a fully integrated utility area continues the same design language, ensuring consistency in colour, material and tone throughout the home.
