Striking, elegant and timeless! We love the finished result of this magnificent, traditional in-frame shaker style kitchen – a beautiful example of thoughtful, quality craftsmanship that captures the imagination.
For this case study, we are delighted to share some words from our lovely client about the kitchen transformation process…
We were designing and building our forever home and wanted a kitchen that was traditional with modern elements, somewhere that was functional, family friendly whilst retaining a wow factor.
We knew we wanted a shaker style kitchen and butler sink – that was our starting point!
It was a big kitchen and symmetry was really important as it’s part of our family living space. Once we’d got the island position right and the units either side of the mantle right, everything else fell into place.
The expertise of David and Louise was invaluable, they very much led the way as far as the design and location of everything goes and it all works brilliantly – everything is in the right place!
What do I love – everything! The kitchen is beautiful, it works exactly as we hoped it would and is the heart of our home. I love the fridges and the fact we have 2 dishwashers, as a family of 6 who are always entertaining, that was a good investment!
We asked Louise about the wow factors of this kitchen: “Eye-catching features include the simple and stylish mantle that we built on-site around the focal point of the hob, complete with handy, niche shelving – perfect for oils and vinegars…
…Above the sub-zero fridge, freezer and wine cooler we also created a bespoke stainless steel matching grill to conceal the air conditioning unit system for a flawless finish.”
